We are currently in search of a Project Administrator, to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Project Manager with job set up, tracking, analysis, reporting and closing requirements.
• Data collection as it’s relates to project budget and estimate.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and financial obligations.
• Project reporting.
• Assist with the development of operating procedures, forms, and systems.
• Implementation of policies and procedures.
• Support for bid preparations as required.
Education, Experience and Knowledge Required
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions.
Minimum 1 year construction industry exposure / experience or project management.
Excellent analytical ability.
Understanding of project management concepts.
Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills.
Exceptional organization and communication skills to highlight project’s risks or opportunities to PM.
Takes initiative and have good work ethic.
Ability to multitask; manage deadlines and maintain effectiveness to changing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire project life cycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing project plans, tracking progress, managing resources and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills and a proven track record of successful project management.
Responsibilities:
Client: Primary contact with our clients during all phases of the project. Ensure we are always targeting a win/win solution.
Leadership: Always demonstrate strong work ethic and standards. Provide leadership to the execution teams. Communicate with the client on a regular basis from award to the completion of turnover documents.
Estimating: Supporting the estimating department by providing input regarding manpower, equipment and material requirements for the projects you are involved in. Review estimates for accuracy and completeness.
Scheduling: Review with Project Superintendent the project schedules and ensure they are updated on a regular basis. Reviews and monitors schedule and communicates planned vs. actuals with our client.
Material Procurement: Communicate with Project Coordinators and Superintendents to create accurate bill of materials and material requisition requests.
Contract Administration: Maintain open communications with the contracts admin to ensure that all contractual items are captured and our risk is minimized.
Cost Control and Tracking: Communicate with cost controller to ensure that all financial data is current and trends can be monitored. Actions are initiated on negative trends.
Documentation: Maintain project documentation, control drawings and revisions and maintain contract change documentation (CIC’s, SI’s, RFI’s). Assist in all QA/QC documentation and records and maintains correspondence with clients and vendors.
Qualifications:
Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering degree.
Role typically provides 3 to 5 years of training in various phases of project administration, estimating and field administration.
Problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate in Microsoft applications including MS Projects an asset. Ability to interpret computerized data is essential.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.

This position is located at a fly-in camp setting in Northern Saskatchewan.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Journeyman Ticket Inter-Provincial Trade Certification or alternatively, a technical diploma and extensive field supervision experience.
2.10+ years of Industrial Construction Experience, 5+ years in Construction Leadership role.
3. Current First Aid Certification & Leadership for Safety Excellence training would be considered an asset; Additional training will be provided as required
4. Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft applications. Ability to learn new software is essential.
Skills/Competencies:
As a minimum the following are the requisite skills to work in this position.
a) Job Specific: advanced knowledge of construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, procedures, scheduling and cost control.

Assist the crisis communication process, when required.
Provide post-audit support for action plan development and implementation.

Interact with regulatory bodies and clients, taking a hands-on approach and acting as the point of contact.
Deal with issues and support the company as required.
Participate in safety associations.
Build and maintain effective working relationships.

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required
Ability to travel to Northern work locations as required. This position comes with benefits, industry-competitive salary, bonuses, and other perks. Candidate must be in the Saskatoon area or willing to relocate to Saskatoon. Relocation costs will not be covered.

Points Athabasca Contracting LP is in search of a Journeyperson Pipefitter (Red Seal) for a position located in a fly in camp setting in Northern Saskatchewan. The position is a 14 day in/14 day out shift. Start date January 3, 2025 until March 31, 2025.
The successful candidate must be willing to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and all required training prior to going to site.
Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate required. Certificates considered asset: SCOT, Fire Extinguisher Training, Confined Space, Fall Protection.
